Murder Prof Amy Bishop Now Sane…Changes Plea from “Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity” to GUILTY!

Yes, Amy. The bullet-proof vest does make you look guilty.

Dr. Amy Bishop, the Harvard-trained PhD who attempted to slaughter her University of Alabama colleagues as they sat in a 2010 department meeting, has plead “guilty” to one count of capital murder and assorted attempted-murder charges. Like her fellow Harvard alum, Dr. Ted Kazcynski, she’ll spend the rest of her life in jail.

I am glad the families of the men and women she killed or injured do not need to sit through her trial.

  1. So Amy must have received some incredibly effective psychiatric care to return her to full sanity so quickly. I thought it usually took years of treatment and therapy to achieve such results

    • Actually–and sadly–I am betting it was her desire to help her kids with their homework that spurred her recovery. Or maybe Big Ethel helped her worked through her anger management issues.
